Scheduling Information
I much prefer TEXTING for appointments in WRJ. My phone is always on silent and you may text me day or night. You may, of course, leave a message on the office line (but not on my cell), and one of us will get back to you as soon as we can. In Randolph you may call the office number to schedule, or text me for any after hours or weekend appointments.
The way we schedule you is of prime importance at both of my offices. I am a thorough doctor and want to have enough time to take care of your needs and do the best job I can. Please use the guideline below when you are texting or calling for an appointment so that I may best serve you.
New patients – 1 hour, plus 15 minutes prior for paperwork
Established patients, new problem – 30 minutes
Routine follow-up, full spine and extremities – 15 minutes
Routine follow-up, full spine – 10 minutes
Complicated or complex new patients or new injuries may require more than the suggested 60 or 30 minutes. Please have a dialogue with me ahead of time in order for us to have enough time to thoroughly address all of your issues without being rushed.
I need and expect you to be on time.
Please be ready to be treated at the start time of your scheduled visit. (i.e. shoes and jacket off, bathroom visit taken care of, bags and items tended to, shoes off, etc.). I try my best to stay on time and am rarely more than 5 minutes behind. If you are late then I may not be able to see you, or your visit will be cut short. If I am behind, which is rare, it is because someone has shown up late or there was a complicated issue that needed to be tended to that was unplanned. Hence, scheduling appropriately is of utmost importance as I have outlined above.
I expect a minimum of 24 hours’ notice for any cancellations.
Please refer to my cancellation policy in the new patient paperwork. With these policies and expectations, I am only trying to facilitate me being the best doctor for you that I can.
